Is there a line to draw?

michael cousins

James Van Horn who was well known as "Eat 'em Up Tigers" guy (famous for the hulk fist gloves) and "Dreadlock Mike" (the man in the wheelchair) were "favorites" at the Detroit Tigers baseball games. Both men were killed by a hit and run driver after a game and even though some citizens who only knew them in the context of cheerful panhandlers were saddened, I wonder is there a line to draw between and individual who wants to live on their own terms and society's passive acceptance of it. Detroit does not have a minor homeless at all and there are those doing what they can but with laws being passed making it illegal to feed the hungry, I wonder if more can be done -- just wondering..
